Meet our Horses
Lessons are taught by Tessa Eggeson, in a large outdoor arena. Lesson horses available, or haul in your own. Tessa is an Equestrian Canada certified instructor, who instills confidence in riders, focusing on building students into safe, knowledgeable horse people. Tessa has a background in Pony Club, dressage, and eventing. Tessa is a competitive eventer, and has trained as a working student in several barns, ridden with various upper level coaches, and has spent her life dedicated to improving her knowledge and abilities. All riding lessons include working on general horse knowledge, over and above a skill-building riding lesson. Lessons are tailored to each student's ability, and confidence level. Stable management lessons available. Lesson horses and ponies available for various skill levels.

Coolio
Coolio
Coolio is our resident Superstar. He is a 17y/o, 15.1hh QH cross. He has filled many shoes over the years, including being used for pony club, riding lessons, eventing, jumpers, dressage, mounted games, trail riding, chasing cows, and even once for the pony express race, at a Ranch Rodeo! Coolio is as steady as they come for new riders needing confidence, and goes right up to (safely) challenging competitive riders when they're ready. He was started by Tessa, and was her event horse for a number of years. He has evented up to training level, and was used for Tessa's 2018 clinic/ show season. He is ridden and shown primarily by Tessa's 5-year old daughter, Gabby.
Guinness
Guinness
Guinness is Tessa's Connemara/Thoroughbred cross, who is currently 4 years old, and being started. He should mature around 15.1hh, and will likely heads towards a career in Eventing.
Ocean
Ocean
Ocean is an 19y/o, 17hh, Holsteiner. He was been used for Dressage, Jumpers, and 3-day eventing. He is now retired, and our beautiful lawn-ornament.
