Aravis

13.3hh, 2014 Welsh/WB (grade), mare

Super Fun Hunter/Jumper Project

Aravis is a super sweet, shy mare. She has all her basic groundwork, and is working towards getting backed. Coming from a breeder dispersal, she is getting a later start in life, but has shown nothing but willingness! She requires consistency to continue bringing her along, and will continue to further her training while she was here. I purchased her as a project to bring along, and sell when the right person comes along. She free-jumped up to 1.15m with her previous owner. Priced in the low/mid four figures. This will increase with training.

Aravis is current on vaccines, deworming, trimming. Will be getting her teeth floated soon, and will get coggins tested, in March (or prior to a sale). No soundness issues, PPE welcome.

Colton

13hh, 2003 3/4 Welsh, 1/4 Arab (grade), Gelding

Lovely jumper pony for a rider with a quiet seat, and hands

Colton is a super fun jumper pony for a keen child, or small AA. He is a super straight forward, quick, adjustable jumper. Was showing .8m with an adult in 2018, and showed with a 10y/o rider in 2019. He is a great pony, but has a limited tolerance for rough hands, and a bumpy seat. He will give his rider some benefit of the doubt, but not if they're pulling on him all the time. In typical arab-fashion, he can get quite tight in his back, and can use a lunge before schooling, if he has had a bit of time off, or the weather is chilly! On these days, he may crowhop. Nothing his current rider can't manage. just have to keep your reins at a good length, and add leg. He is ideally suited to a rider who is solid w/t/c, and started over fences. He is a great pony, but a little set in his ways, and needs to be ridden accordingly. On his zippy days, he needs exercises to help him relax into a nice rhythm, NOT a rider constantly holding on his face.

Bathes/clips/hauls. He has been used for pulling a sled, pony club, birthday parties, jumpers, kids camps, trails, cross-country, swimming, and has chased cows. Like many horses/ponies that are being handled by kids on a regular basis, he has learned to be a little pushy on the ground. He does well to be reminded that is not acceptable, and then he will go back to his polite self! Looking for his perfect fit!

Currently located near Provost, AB. UTD on vaccines/farrier/deworming/coggins. Teeth will be due in March 2020.
