Bailey (SOLD)

13hh, 2011 Welsh/Fjord (grade), gelding

Excellent all-around pony for a child looking to move up the levels!

Where do I begin about the cutest little superstar?! This pony stole my heart from the moment I saw those cute little ears! Bailey has been used extensively in a beginner lesson program (using great caution to ensure he wasn't getting hauled in the mouth, having anyone bouncing all over his back, and making sure there were no bad habits being formed). He has been the #1 pony, and such a steady, reliable guy. He was in a solid program for the 2018 season with a 7y/o rider, and did fantastic! He was used for a cross-country clinic with Leah Breakey (Master Class Eventing) and another with Amy West. He went to a couple schooling shows and was awesome. Very level headed, and the same pony as he is at home. He is not spooky, and can be ridden out by any level of rider on the trails. Has doubled the kids lots! He is a solid build, so very easy for an adult to pop on him, if needed. He will get a bit zippy in his canter when he is only being used a couple times a week, so he is better suited to a confident rider when cantering, and does need a rider who is confident on cross-country. He doesn't get strong, just to give him the confidence at the fences. Would make a superb Pony Club pony.

He would be very well suited to a kid who wants a pony they can do a bit of everything with! He is very polite, and can easily be handled by children (and toddlers!). Great for the kids to catch (can avoid us adults when in a group of horses!), ties great, easy to tack-up/bridle, great with his feet. Lunges, jumps 2'6" courses, schooled to 1st level, and moves very nicely off your leg. He has a super steady, slow walk/trot, BUT moves well off your leg, and is NOT a pony who ever needs to be booted. Doesn't have solid changes, his rider hasn't needed them.

Bailey is current on vaccines, deworming, trimming, chiro, teeth (May 2018), and has a 2018 negative coggins. No soundness issues, PPE welcome.

Located in Wainwright, AB, with access to an indoor.
Asking $6500. Approved home only. Video available upon request. More pictures posted below.

Colton (Sold)

13hh, 2003 3/4 Welsh, 1/4 Arab (grade), Gelding

Lovely jumper pony for an experienced rider.

Colton is a super pony, with a ton of experience, but unfortunately he doesn't work for anyone in my program. He will (without warning) will stop, and drop his head. With a rider who can sit that, and keep him going, he will give some bucks. A rider with an excellent seat, strong legs, soft hands, and a lot of drive, determination, and confidence, can (fairly easily) push him through it, and then you can have a phenomenal ride. He is schooled up to 2nd level, was jumping .80m courses through the summer very successfully, and at ease (with a 5'7"/130lb rider), with the scope to go higher. He is honest, but "looky" at his first couple fences on course, and requires a rider who can push him through that. Then he is a little star! Turns on a dime, super adjustable, balanced, upright canter, had his changes, but needs a refresher. He does very well when he is in a consistent program, and then this isn't an issue (well, it wasn't previously), but unfortunately I am the only one who is currently able to do that, and I have other horses that require my time... and I am just too big for him!!

He would make a super fun competitive mount for a small adult, or VERY confident, experienced child. He needs to have one rider who is in a solid lesson program.

He was previously used for kids of all ages, and was amazing! This has come up since he hasn't had a good rider on him all the time. He is super quiet, can be handled by kids, and has great manners. Bathes/clips/hauls. He has been used for pony club, birthday parties, jumpers, kids camps, trails, and has chased cows. He has only has two owners since he was a weanling, and has a well known history, He is a super fun ride, and I thoroughly enjoyed doing a little bit more with him this past summer. I took him to a few schooling shows (Cointreau Stables, Vermillion Fair, Lloyd Summer Classic) and was very successful in his jumper rounds *after giving me a bit of a bronc ride in my warm-up round*. He is much better if he has been lunged prior to riding, but that also doesn't guarantee he won't. The only other naughty thing he does is try to eat grass, when the little ones are on him. Grass reins work very well, but this wouldn't be a problem for anyone who can handle his other issue. He is VERY safe, and reliable for lead-line stuff, so perfect for a younger sibling to play with ;)

UTD on vaccines (6-way), teeth (May 2018), trimming, chiro.
Asking $3800
Very flexible to a competitive home that is the right fit. He is a special boy, who holds a special place in my heart. Hauling available for the cost of fuel. I would also be open to hauling him to Wainwright, or a few different areas for a viewing to a promising home. No tire kickers. Videos available upon request. More pictures posted below, along with pictures of him as a 3/4y/o
