"Escape to Narnia" - Aravis

13.3hh, 2014 Welsh/WB Sport Pony, Mare

Scopey, Talented Hunter/Jumper/Eventing Project

Lovely jump form, with lots of scope, and bold to fences. She will make a fantastic pony for a competitive JR/YR/AA looking for a straight-forward, talented pony, ready to go in any direction. With lines pulling from sport Welsh, Warmblood, and Thoroughbred lines, this talented mare will give her rider a mount to enjoy for many years. Being started later in life, she is green for her age, and will continue to require a consistent program (4-6 days a week). She is extremely sensible, not spooky, willing. Through her time being started, she has shown her moments where she gets "stuck", and does well with a gentle rider, who will teach her. As soon as she understands something, she totally gets it!

She has fantastic, tight knees at every fence, and is always willing to go over anything we have sent her to. She free-jumped up to 1.15m with her previous owner, and has been doing pole/cavaletti (lunging) work recently. Aravis has been backed, and is coming along very nicely. She will be started being ridden, and start building a good foundation in the coming weeks.

She has been exposed to dogs/kids/equipment, gone on trails, and ground drives. She loads/hauls well, and will be sold with a recent coggins test, float, and is UTD on vaccines/deworming/farrier. She has nice clean legs, and has no known soundness issues. She is very sweet, and genuinely enjoys being used. She loves to please. and is very polite. I can't say enough about her! She is only being sold, because thats what she came for! She is a pony that I would love to keep in my program.

She would be available to the right person, as soon as early March. My plan is to hang onto her longer, and get her started on X-rail courses, but would let her go to the right rider! I will likely ride her in a clinic, the end of March. She will be perfect to start bringing through the spring/early summer schooling shows, and prepare for something bigger, mid/late summer. With her age, and super mind, she is totally ready to get rolling!

Located near Maidstone, SK. Can haul some places for viewing, contact to see if arrangements can be made.

Mid-four figures. This will increase with training.

"Pacifico" - Ocean

17hh, 2000, Holsteiner WB, Gelding

Lovely gelding for a pleasure/trail rider

Ocean is such a solid senior citizen. I have owned him for almost twelve years, and he now enjoys his semi-retired life as a trail/lesson horse, keeps the young horses in line, and babysits the children. He would make a great horse for a horse-loving parent, or grand-parent, who wants something they can ride, and put the kids onto. He ponies very well, so great for the little ones, and he is great to pony off of, so super for leading the kids on another mount, or even when training babies. He will also happily double, so you can always bring a kid along behind you, or pull them on a sled. I think he would be a great candidate to get driving. He can be tough to bridle, and really tough because he is so tall... but he goes very well in a hackamore/micklem (bitless), or side-pull (even just a halter!), which makes it super easy. He is available for a partial/full on-property lease, or I would be open to a sale (on a buyback clause), or free lease. He would only leave the property for someone who would bring him out 3+ days a week. He can stay here until his very last day, but he still has a number of years of enjoyment left! He gets used a little bit, but not as much as he would like!

He is out in his hips/stifle, so is NOT sound. He is for someone who wants to primarily walk, with little bits of trot/canter. He isn't in any pain, we have done extensive vet/body work over a number of years, and it just never got any better. After time off, and rehab, he is totally fine for light riding. He does have a noticeable hitch in his trot, which is a bit awkward. We took him to a hunter pace, in 2019, and he loved it. Not spooky, but not totally dead, either. Please contact for more information.

Lovely jumper pony for a rider with a quiet seat, and hands

Colton is a super fun jumper pony for a keen child, or small AA. He is a super straight forward, quick, adjustable jumper. Was showing .8m with an adult in 2018, and showed with a 10y/o rider in 2019. He is a great pony, but has a limited tolerance for rough hands, and a bumpy seat. He will give his rider some benefit of the doubt, but not if they're pulling on him all the time. He is ideally suited to a rider who is solid w/t/c, and started over fences. He is a great pony, but a little set in his ways, and needs to be ridden accordingly. On his zippy days, he needs exercises to help him relax into a nice rhythm, NOT a rider constantly holding on his face.

Bathes/clips/hauls. He has been used for pulling a sled, pony club, birthday parties, jumpers, kids camps, trails, cross-country, swimming, and has chased cows. Like many horses/ponies that are being handled by kids on a regular basis, he has learned to be a little pushy on the ground. He does well to be reminded that is not acceptable, and then he will go back to his polite self! Looking for his perfect fit!

Currently located near Provost, AB. UTD on vaccines/farrier/deworming/coggins. Teeth will be due in March 2020.
